OREANDA-NEWS. September 23, 2014. “Yakutskenergo” OJSC executed a determination of Yakutsk OFAS Russia and paid the fine imposed for failure to execute the agreement conditions for connecting to electric grids.

In the second half of 2013, the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) (Yakutia OFAS Russia) found that “Yakutskenergo” OJSC violated the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” in the part of abusing dominance. The company concluded an agreement for technological connection to electric grids but failed to execute the connection within the statutory 6-month period.

Based on this decision, the antimonopoly body initiated administrative proceedings and fined “Yakutskenergo” 8,517,750 RUB.
