OREANDA-NEWS. In anticipation of the new heating season routine checks of engineering, energy and housing complexes in St. Petersburg are being conducted. In addition to the technical readiness, the lack of consumer debt for heat to the resource providers is assessed.

At the moment in Saint Petersburg the receivables of customers to JSC TGC-1 for heat supply amount to RUB 5.8 billion. The largest share of overdue accounts receivable is for Housing and Utility: 88.5% (RUB 4,555 million) is formed by the utility service providers in St. Petersburg. More than 60% of this debt (RUB 2,763 million) belongs to managing companies controlled by the city.

Top three in the anti rating are Kirovskiy, Vasileostrovskiy and Centralniy districts. A significant increase in accounts receivable is noted in 2014 in Frunzenskiy and Admiralteyskiy districts - for managing companies the increase is by over RUB 200 million (more than 25% for each of the districts).

For all subscribers - debtors JSC TGC-1 has either receiving orders or repayment schedules and documents to recover the debt through court.

Power engineers remind that the absence of debt and timely payment for services rendered are a prerequisite for the issuance of readiness passports to residential facilities and commencement of services under the contracts for heat supply to houses under the jurisdiction of the MC and the HOA.

The presence of debt can lead to bankruptcy of the managing companies, HOA and the Housing and Utility Services.
