OREANDA-NEWS. UniCredit Bank corporate website was ranked 2nd among the Ukrainian banks according to the research held by Investor Relations Agency, reported business edition "Capital".

According to the analysis this year UniCredit Bank was ranked second among the 32 researched banks by scoring 3.54 points under base scale. The bank's website according to its functionality and accessibility of information surpassed Alfa-Bank (Ukraine), PrivatBank and Raiffeisen Bank Aval, ceding only 0.29 points to the leader of the study (FUIB).

The aim of the study was to identify the banks that follow the most open policy to disclose information necessary for customers and potential and existing investors (shareholders). This study analyzed the banking policy of information disclosure funder the following 12 categories: ownership structure, financial reporting, issue of shares, corporate governance, the general meeting of shareholders, communications, risk management system, regular disclosure of information, corporate social responsibility, multimedia, interactivity, attracting retail investor.

The study of corporate websites of banks in terms of availability of information necessary for potential and existing investors (holders of shares and / or bonds) has been held since 2011. This year, banks of I-II group according to the classification of the NBU on 01.01.2014 were analyzed, with the exception of financial institutions with the interim administration at the time of publication of the study. The study was based on a scheme developed in 2011, consisting of 12 main sections, including more than 40 criteria. The evaluation was conducted under a 5-point system.
