OREANDA-NEWS. September 26, 2014. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) is launching an interactive map in the test mode on its official web-site, which will reflect the current situation with prices on oil products across the regions of the Russian Federation.

The interactive map contains information about the state of prices on oil products on the retail market. It will be updated weekly.

The idea to create the map came up on the basis of weekly monitoring of oil products prices that FAS carries out jointly with its regional Offices.

“This Map on FAS web-site will guide any consumer on the pricing situation on the oil products markets and enable them to obtain information about the market structure. Creating and maintaining the Map are the results of the efforts of FAS and its regional Offices in all Russian regions”, pointed out the Head of the Department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) for Control over Fuel-and-Energy Complex, Dmitry Makhonin.
