In summer of 2014, Tele2 subscriberswho travelledabroad spent 12 mn minutes speaking on the phone and sent over 9 mn SMS.

Tele2 clients visited 166 countries. Among most visited travel destinations were Turkey, Ukraine, Belarus, Greece, Spain, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Finland, Germany and Italy.

Apart from popular resorts, Tele2 subscribers traveled to long-haul getaways including Ruanda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Sudan and island states such as Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and Grenadines.

High season is not the only reason for popularity of Tele2 international roaming services. Key factors that boosted demand were simple, easy-to-understand tariffs and low prices that allow Tele2 subscribers to use mobile services abroad without any restrictions.
