The situation with high-octane gasoline in Kazakhstan market will be normalized in near future, First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Uzakbai Karabalin told reporters offstage of the XI Kazakh-Russian forum of interregional cooperation taking place in Atyrau.

"We already have contracts with Russia. Deliveries have already begun in September. This is evident from the situation on the market is improving. There is a deficit, and it will be. About 30%. We have to cover it mainly due to Russia. The main thing is that, finally, petroleum products are coming from Russia," Uzakbai Karabalin said.

Also, according to Mr. Karabalin, meanwhile, gasoline prices will be unchanged. Uzakbai Karabalin did not comment on what will happen in future.
