OREANDA-NEWS. October 03, 2014. Sviaz-Bank placed 19th in the rankings of the Kommersant-Dengi journal among 100 biggest Russian banks in the amount of net assets. Its 342.6 billion rubles in net assets pushed the Bank one line up from its standing on July 1, 2014.

By a longstanding tradition, Sviaz-Bank has been ranked among the Top 30 banks in the amount of loans, including various forms of consumer credit and interbank loans, investment in securities, and funds held in settlement accounts.

Sviaz-Bank was placed 22nd in the rankings of banks issuing the biggest amounts of loans, its 199.1billion rubles out on loan amounting to 58.12% of its assets. The Bank was also named among Russia’s 50 biggest banks in the amount of loans extended to individuals outstanding on September 1, 2014. The Bank’s 60.2 billion rubles in consumer credit placed it 29th in the journal’s rankings.

With 91.5 billion rubles put into securities, Sviaz-Bank is 12th among banks having the largest funds in investments, and 16th among banks having the biggest amounts of funds, almost 79 billion rubles, in settlement accounts.

The figures cited above were computed by the journal’s own methodology and may be different from the Bank’s official figures it arrived at by using the methodology of the Bank of Russia.
