OREANDA-NEWS. October 06, 2014. A responsible business conference entitled ‘Boost your business with Corporate Social Responsibility’ was held in Tallinn.

It sought answers to the question as to how our economy can grow through sustainable and responsible business practices.

Managers of Estonian businesses emphasised at the conference that the management of social and environmental sustainability and responsible business should be strategically rather than emotionally driven.

A survey conducted among the more than 200 attendees at the event revealed that 80% of companies plan to turn more attention to this subject in the coming years, as they see it as being of great potential benefit in ensuring the longevity of their companies and in boosting their reputations.

The conference was organised by the embassies and chambers of commerce of Norway, Sweden and Denmark in Tallinn in association with the Responsible Business Forum and with the support of Danske Bank and the Nordic Council of Ministers.

More information can be found on the website of the Responsible Business Forum, which features the presentations given by the speakers at the event, videos of the presentations and links to articles published in the media.
