OREANDA-NEWS. As part of the management reshuffle at Uranium One Holding N.V. announced by ROSATOM earlier, Vasily Konstantinov was appointed President of the Company after having been Senior Vice President for Commerce and International Cooperation at TVEL.

His key responsibilities will be to further develop the Company as ROSATOM's global competence center and to boost shareholder value through product diversification and tapping into new market segments.

"Vasily Konstantinov has served the nuclear industry for almost 30 years with a focus on commercial and international operations. His competences will play a vital role in Uranium One Holding development in line with its strategy supplying cost-effective raw materials for our large-scale projects across the nuclear fuel cycle", said Sergey Kirienko, ROSATOM's CEO.

Vasily Konstantinov was born in 1960 in Moscow. In 1983, Mr. Konstantinov graduated from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. He also received degrees from the Griboedov Institute for International Law and Economics in 2003 and from the Russian Government's Financial Academy in 2008. His career in the nuclear industry started in 1983 at the Bilibino Nuclear Power Plant, where he worked until 1993. In 1997, he joined TVEL. From 2001 to 2012, Mr. Konstantinov served as a Deputy Executive Director and Department Head, Executive Director of the Commercial Department, Vice President and Executive Director for Commerce and International Cooperation, Vice President for Commerce and International Cooperation at TVEL. Since June 2012, Mr. Konstantinov worked as TVEL's Senior Vice President for Commerce and International Cooperation.
