OREANDA-NEWS. Starting from October 1, 2014, IrAero airlines, a partner of NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport, commences direct scheduled flight operations from Novosibirsk to Samara.

Flights to one of the largest cities of Volga Region in Russia will be operated on a weekly basis each Wednesday. Departure time of Flight RD 371 from Novosibirsk is 12:15 p.m., the return Flight RD 372 - 01:30 p.m. (local time for each airport is implied). Flights will be operated on a comfortable CRJ-200 aircraft.

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The domestic terminal capacity makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the capacity on international flights - up to 750 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories. In 2013 the passenger traffic exceeded 3.7 mln passengers and cargo traffic totalled 29.9 thousand tons of cargo and mail handled.
