OREANDA-NEWS. JSC TATNEFT and the state-owned Avtodor Company signed a cooperation agreement.

The document has been signed by Nail Maganov, the Company's General Director, and Sergei Kelbakh, Chairman of the Board of the state-owned Avtodor Company.

The parties have agreed to cooperate in the development of the roadside infrastructure, development, implementation and application of new formats for creating multifunctional areas of the road service during the construction and operation of highways.

The agreement provides for joint activities in the field of implementation and application of modern high-quality innovative materials and technologies in construction, maintenance and repair of roads aiming at increasing the service life of the roadway and reducing costs and financial losses in the public roads sector.

The Companies also plan working together providing for development of proposals for improving the legal and technical standards basis in the areas mentioned.

The agreement shall be effective within one year from the date of signing and will be automatically renewed for a similar period, which confirms the long-term nature of the cooperation.

Currently, there is already the TATNEFT's filling station network multifunctional roadside service area (MF3) at the federal highway M-4 "Don" (543rd km, Voronezh region). Such another service area is being built on this line at the 749th km of M-4 "Don" highway.

JSC TATNEFT is one of the largest national oil companies, which operates as a vertically integrated Group. The industrial complex of the Company comprises steadily developing crude oil and gas production, petroleum refining, petrochemicals production, tire complex, chain of filling stations and service structures unit.

JSC TATNEFT successfully implements the programs to stabilize the volumes of commercial oil and gas production from the fields under development licenses, is actively involved in developing new oil fields, including the fields with extra-viscous and hard-to-recover oil in the Republic of Tatarstan; expands its resource base outside the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation; increases the volume of production and sales of high competitive finished products through development of the petrochemicals production sector and oil refining; effectively creates and implements the innovative engineering and technical policy.
