OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC E4-SibCOTES together with the Branch of OJSC Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System - SIBNIIE completed the development of the power distribution scheme for Perm GRES at which 800 MW combined cycle power unit st.#4 is under construction. Out-of-stage works were approved by OJSC UES System Operator and OJSC Federal Grid Company of UES.

The document includes the analysis of the existing power and electric energy balance of Perm energy system and adjacent energy systems of Ural UES, calculation of main parameters of their efficient operation and development, forecast of energy consumption levels and electric loads for 2015 (the planned commission time of the power unit) and the nearest five year perspectives as well as development of power distribution scheme options for power unit #4.

Specialists of E4-SibCOTES determined GRES operation modes covering loads of Perm energy system and URAL UES and developed proposals on electric energy and power consumption.

Issues on introduction of the state-of-the-art equipment at the grid facilities and directly at Perm GRES were considered. The scope of construction and capital costs were determined.

Perm GRES has been supplying heat and electric energy to Ural and Privolzhsky regions starting from 1986. The construction of the new power unit will allow the power plant to cover an active increase in power consumption. As a result of the expansion Perm GRES will increase the installed capacity up to 3200 MW.
