OREANDA-NEWS. Herman Gref, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Sberbank of Russia has visited Yakutsk. The objective of his working trip was to assess the activity of the Yakutsk Division and the current results of the reorganisation of Sberbank's Severo-Vostochny Bank.

During a working visit the head of Sberbank met with representatives of the region's businesses. The meeting took place as a round table; participants discussed pressing issues concerning business management and development.

The trip concluded with a traditional meeting between Mr Gref and the team of Sberbank's Yakutsk Division. The CEO told colleagues about the implementation of Sberbank's 2018 Strategy, answered questions, and outlined priority areas for the bank: increasing the quality of customer service, training personnel, strengthening corporate culture.

The head of Sberbank noted the positive changes that have taken place at the division after it was joined to the Baikalsky Bank. "Today the bank is completely different," said Mr Gref. "I think that this sort of renewal is very important. I can see big potential in the Yakutsk Division."
