OREANDA-NEWS. October 14, 2014. Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman today met her Romanian counterpart Titus Corlatean, on a visit to Moldova and member of the official delegation led by Prime Minister Victor Ponta, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

The officials praised the excellent level of the bilateral cooperation and tackled the most important issues on the Moldovan-Romanian ties’ agenda. The sides also exchanged opinions about the underway projects or those that were to be implemented in Moldova with Romania’s support. At the same time, the ministers addressed possibility to enhance the bilateral economic exchanges.

The officials paid special attention to the implementation of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement and Romania’s support for this process.

The sides also analysed the Transnistrian conflict and regional evolutions.
