In addition, for the implementation of individual tasks we actively engage external consultants, as well as closely cooperate with Microsoft. Cross-functional interaction is an important tool for us to optimize costs; it enables to elaborate the systems and services without increasing costs for our own IT specialists," said Sergey Korotkov, Director of the Department of Information Technologies, DIXY.

GMCS has been involved for automation of tax accounting in Microsoft Dynamics AX using own developments of GMCS' team. The work specific is connected with a complex system of accounting and calculation of production costs, the enormous document flow (daily Microsoft Dynamics AX processes thousands of invoices and other documents).

"The implementation of tax accounting in a single system has improved the transparency of the tax data, reduced time to prepare tax registers and declarations, as well as reduced staff time to perform these and related operations," adds Sergey Korotkov.

"Multi-format retailer chains have more complex business processes. So, the automation must consider this specificity. We continue to cooperate with DIXY in the further development of the information system and its support for individual sites," notices Ksenia Chernikova, Business Director of GMCS.

"An integrated approach to business automation, which DIXY uses, inspires us at Microsoft and our customers.
