OREANDA-NEWS. Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) has received a medal „For contribution into development of Emergency Response System" from the RoK Committee of Emergency Response for its active participation in the development of state system of emergency prevention in the Republic of Kazakhstan and achieved success in the field of safety and security as well as in connection with the 15th Anniversary of the Ort Sondirushi („Өрт сөндіруші") Company.

KPO General Director, Damiano Ratti, said: "It is a great honour for KPO to receive this award, which has resulted from our successful co-operation with the RoK Committee of Emergency Response. I believe this award is recognition of KPO's continued safe and reliable performance and contribution towards enhancing safety and security in the Karachaganak field".

This performance is benchmarked against other Oil & Gas companies within the Oil & Gas Producer's (OGP) Association and this achievement signifies KPO personnel's commitment to safety, health, and environmental practices and standards", added Damiano Ratti.
