OREANDA-NEWS. On October 14, 2014 the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Belarus played host to meeting of BUCE and the Ministry of Communication and Computerization with a group of experts from Korea's National Information Society Agency (NIA). The Korean experts were primarily interested in the methods and practices used in Belarus in the field of government procurements as well as peculiarities of developing software for corresponding electronic trading platforms.

Answers to these questions were provided by BUCE experts in their report dedicated to advantages of using electronic and exchange trade instruments to fuel the development of trade and economic relations between Belarus and Korea. Besides, the Korean guests also received information about BUCE's economic performance as well as peculiarities of the Automatic trade support system, logistics infrastructure and main areas of international cooperation.

NIA representatives, in their turn, voiced interest in closer collaboration with BUCE, including through assistance with attraction of Korean companies to exchange trade auctions held at BUCE. In the near future, such cooperation may help intensify the Belarusian-Korean trade and economic relations.
