OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2014. First part of press line equipment designed for production of Chevrolet NIVA Next Generation was delivered on the construction site of JV-Systems LLC, which is GM-AVTOVAZ fully-owned subsidiary.

The press line is set up of 4 presses, 7 robots and auxiliary equipment provided for stamping of large and complex parts of vehicles including a body, a roof, side frames, doors and a hood.  The size of this advanced equipment is 50m x 8m with the full weight of approximately 2,000 ton and the capacity of 20 parts per minute.  
 
The last-generation press equipment was designed specifically for production of the Next Generation Chevrolet NIVA and produced by Hyundai Rotem in South Korea.

According to the construction schedule, mounting of the line will be completed by the end of this year. In the beginning of 2015, start-up and adjustment operations will begin in the press shop of JV-Systems LLC.
