OREANDA-NEWS. October 22, 2014. In January–September 2014, E.ON Russia generated 42.7 bln kWh (-6.3 % as compared to the last year). Within the nine months of 2014, the electric power sales volume totalled 44.6 bln kWh, showing a decrease by 6.0 % as compared to the analogous period of the previous year.

Heat generation decreased by 2% as compared to the similar period in 2013 reaching 1,437.3 thousand GCal.

Electric power generation volume decrease is conditioned by alteration of the repairs schedule and the operating electric power plants equipment mix, in particular:

performance of mandatory maintenance works on servicing of CCGT units (Surgutskaya GRES-2 and Yaivinskaya GRES);

a large-scale updating of the automated process control system for fuel delivery (Berezovskaya GRES);

construction by FGC UES of 500 kV power transmission line “Berezovskaya GRES – Itatskaya” (Berezovskaya GRES);

Electric power generation volume reduction also results from participation of Power Unit No. 4 of Surgutskaya GRES-2 in the system services market starting from February 2014.
