OREANDA-NEWS. October 23, 2014. S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance®, from the 26th of October 2014 shifts to winter flight schedule, which will remain effective until the 28th of March 2014 inclusive.

In the winter flight schedule the airline will operate flights to 85 cities in 25 countries of the world. In addition to traditional travel routes S7 Airlines Passengers can expect new ones.

From the 10th of November S7 Airlines opens a new flight destination Moscow – Voronezh. Flights will be operated every day. For the first time passengers from Voronezh will be able to travel on modern comfortable Airbus A319 liners. A new international flight Vladivostok – Seoul will appear in the S7 Airlines schedule. Flights will be performed during the New Year holiday period from the 24th of December.

Flights from Moscow to Helsinki (Finland) and to Cyprus - to Paphos and Larnaca (Cyprus) will for the first time remain in the S7 Airlines schedule for the winter period.

For passengers who prefer active winter recreation the airline will resume flights to European ski resorts - Innsbruck (Austria), Plovdiv (Bulgaria) and Chambery (France). Moreover during the New Year holiday period the airline will increase the frequency of flights from Moscow to Munich and Verona – the nearest airport to the Dolomites.

Traditionally S7 Airlines allows passengers to carry ski equipment for free. On S7 own flights in addition to his baggage a passenger can carry a pair of skis with ski poles, or a snowboard, and boots, helmet, glasses, special clothing in a cover with the total weight not exceeding 23 kg.

S7 Airlines passengers from Novosibirsk will be able to take direct flights to Dubai (UAE), and to warm resorts of Thailand - Bangkok and Phuket Island. Direct flights to the capital of Thailand will also be made from Krasnoyarsk and Irkutsk.

Flights from the cities of Siberia and the Far East to other popular Asian destinations - Hong Kong, Beijing, Urumqi (China) and Tokyo (Japan) will remain in the schedule.

During the winter period the number of domestic flights will increase. The frequency of daily flights to Ufa will grow up to four, to Kazan – up to five. In addition it will be the first time when the airline will perform two daily flights from Moscow to Simferopol and Anapa in the winter schedule.

In the winter schedule flights will be performed on modern comfortable aircrafts of the world’s leading producers – Airbus and Boeing. Today S7 Airlines operates one of the most young and modern aircraft fleets on the Russian air transportation market. In autumn of the current year the airline has received two new Boeing 737-800NG aircrafts directly from the manufacturing factory. In the near future the airline is expecting another liner of the same type, which will operate flights in the winter schedule.
