Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, received the 'Outstanding Contributor' award from the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC), in recognition of the leading role it has played towards progressing the economic relationship between Germany and India. The award was presented at the 58th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the IGCC in Mumbai, which was attended by 500+ diplomats, VIPs, top executives of Indo-German joint venture companies, dignitaries from business, finance and trade media.

TCS was recognized for its investment in creating a strong local operation in Germany, which is contributing to strengthening the competitiveness of the German economy, while strengthening employment creation. The company has significantly expanded its presence in the country, with its revenues growing 134% in the country from 2010-2013 along with the recruitment of over 500 new positions in Germany during that period.

With offices in all major regions of the country (Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart and Berlin), TCS also runs a major delivery center in Dusseldorf and is the technology partner to over 80 companies, including many of the DAX30. In a survey done of CXOs across the country by Whitelane Research, TCS has emerged as the #1 company in terms of customer satisfaction across its industry. It has also been the main partner to the BMW Berlin Marathon over this period, supporting the cause of wellness and community development.
