OREANDA-NEWS. Vancouver Airport Authority today welcomed Air Canada rouge operations to Vancouver International Airport (YVR), with a daily, non-stop flight from Vancouver to Las Vegas, Nevada. This route is one of five announced routes that Air Canada rouge will launch out of YVR.

"Just in time for our busy summer travel season, we are delighted to welcome Air Canada rouge operations to YVR," said Craig Richmond, President & CEO, Vancouver Airport Authority. "With Air Canada rouge now touching down in Vancouver, travellers will have more selection to our popular US destinations - including the addition of their service to Phoenix."

As one of its largest carriers, Air Canada flights comprise 40 per cent of YVR's operations across international, transborder and domestic sectors. Air Canada rouge flights will operate to five key leisure destinations, using an Airbus 319 upgraded with all new Air Canada rouge interior and entertainment system and capacity for 142 passengers.

Air Canada rouge flights from Las Vegas to YVR arrive daily at 9:54 AM and depart at 10:45 AM.
