OREANDA-NEWS. Export deliveries of KAMAZ, which reduced by third in January-July 2014 compared to the last year, in August and September jumped 1.8 times to 1180 trucks and assembly kits, and the profit from these supply - by 2.3 times to 1.75 billion rubles. As follows from the data of Ministry of Industry and Trade, which was provided for the newspaper "Vedomosti", for the first nine months exports of KAMAZ fell by 17% to 3758 trucks for 5.95 billion Rubles: deliveries to the CIS countries decreased by 22% to 3175 units (4.96 billion rubles, -17%), to the non-CIS countries - increased by 30.1% to 583 cars (980 million rubles, +24%).

The main foreign market of KAMAZ - is Kazakhstan, outside the CIS region - countries in Asia, Latin America and Africa, said a representative of KAMAZ. The increasing of exports outside the CIS countries is connected, first of all, with the increase in orders from Africa.

In the terms of weakening ruble it is advantageous to develop deliveries to foreign countries, said in an interview with "Vedomosti" the CEO of KAMAZ, Sergey Kogoghin. Contracts for the supply of trucks to foreign countries are fixed in foreign currency (mainly dollars) at the time of conclusion, and it is long-term contracts, says a representative of the company. This year (from October 21st, 2013 to October 21st, 2014), the ruble fell against the dollar by 28.4%.

In 2013, revenues of KAMAZ from the export of trucks and assembly kits were 10.66 billion Rubles (9.3% of consolidated revenues). In the CIS countries it was sent 700 vehicles (12% of all foreign supplies). In January-September of 2014 the average cost of a truck, delivered to foreign countries, was 1.68 million Rubles (in 2013 - 1.76 million Rubles), according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Structure of exports deliveries by configurations and modifications is different every year, says a representative of KAMAZ. According to him, African countries tend to buy the cheapest equipment, but due to the effect of the devaluation of the ruble revenue is at an attractive level. For example, during the conclusion of the contract in 2013 and the price of the truck 40 thousand dollars, its ruble cost was 1.28 million Rubles (at the average exchange rate in 2013 of 31.9 rubles for the dollar), and at the current rate (41 rubles per dollar), the company will gain 1.64 million Rubles.

By the end of 2014 KAMAZ plans to deliver abroad about 6000 trucks (+ 5%), says the company. If the share of deliveries in foreign non-CIS countries in total exports will be the same as in the first nine months of 2014 (15.5%), then it will be sent 900 units (an increase of almost 30%). According to the representative, taking into account the duration of the execution of foreign contracts, devaluation effect for export development the company will feel fully in 2015.

Improvement in the overall export performance of KAMAZ in addition to wanting to profit from the devaluation is connected with the low base effect, said the analyst of "VTB Capital", Vladimir Bespalov: in the first half of 2013 the company has put a lot of trucks in Kazakhstan (before the introduction in this country of "Euro-4") , then shipments decreased.

Meanwhile, other manufacturers increase exports. Among Russian producers of passenger cars the exports is increased by Moscow plant Renault - "Renault Russia" (+ 28.5% in the first nine months, 506 units) and JV "GM-AvtoVAZ", which produces SUV Chevrolet Niva (+ 11,4% , 3106 units). Export of AvtoVAZ for nine months decreased by 29.7% to 37,817 vehicles, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
