OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' exports of milk and condensed cream reduced 20.4% year on year in January-Aug 2014 to USD 474.612 million, Belstat said in a report.

In quantitative terms, Belarus exports of milk and condensed cream reduced 27.6% year on year to 124,600 tonnes.

At the same time, milk and cream exports (non-condensed) grew 19.2% year on year in January-August 2014 to USD 183.23 million; 209,500 tonnes (up 9.1%).

Exports of cheese and cottage cheese grew 14.1% to USD 479.531 million; 97,100 tonnes (up 1.8%).

Belarus' butter exports stood at 44,000 tonnes (down 8.7% on year) worth USD 237.747 million (down 0.5%), yogurt and kefir - 54,700 tonnes (up 10.1%) worth USD 81.715 million (up 21%), ice cream - 3,000 tonnes (up 14.8%) worth USD 13.833 million (up 24.9%).
