OREANDA-NEWS. For the six year in a row, TEO LT, AB, the largest provider of integrated telecommunication, IT and TV services in Lithuania is recognized as the best among the companies listed on NASDAQ OMX Baltic stock exchanges during the Baltic Corporate Excellence Awards 2014.

Since 2008 the rating of the companies quoted on NASDAQ OMX stock exchanges in Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn based on their quality evaluation is on a yearly basis released by Latvian company CE Services, together with Swiss-based CE Asset Management AG and Latvian BA School of Business and Finance.

According to the experts, TEO repeated its success due to a number of factors, among which are the well-established business model, excellent financial strength, plausible capital investments policy and management execution.

The second place for the third year in a row is awarded to the Latvian pharmaceutical company Olainfarm, and the third place, like a year ago, is given to the electronics manufacturer Harju Elekter from Estonia.

The jury of experts evaluated the financial indicators and the quality of corporate governance of the companies listed on the Baltic stock exchanges. The strength of the balance sheet, profitability, capital efficiency, operating efficiency of the company was evaluated. The experts, taking into consideration local market environment, also evaluated business model, corporate governance and quality of financial management of the company.

This year TEO was also prized for the best investor relations (IR) in Lithuania by IR Magazine, an international journal for investor relations professionals. TEO is recognized as the best every time Lithuanian companies are evaluated - overall the company already received six IR Magazine Awards.

During the Baltic Market Awards 2013, organized by NASDAQ OMX stock exchanges in Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn, at the beginning of this year TEO was awarded for the best annual and corporate governance report as well as the best investor relations according to the analysts.

Having more than 12 thousand shareholders, TEO is one of the largest, in terms of capitalization, company on the Main List of NASDAQ OMX Vilnius stock exchange.
