OREANDA-NEWS. On October 30, 2014, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with the President - Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Moscow - Mikhail Kuzovlev. At the meeting there were discussed the issues of cooperation of the Bank of Moscow with the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the Bank's contribution to the development of the infrastructure of the Republic, and the main objectives and challenges for the Kazan branch of the Bank were announced.

The Bank of Moscow pays much attention to the cooperation with municipal unitary enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan - starting from 2012, the Bank supports Water Canal, Municipal Unitary Enterprise and Department of Food and Social Nutrition of Kazan, Municipal Unitary Enterprise and others. In 2014, the Kazan branch of the Bank of Moscow granted credit facilities to Kazan Energy Service Centre, Municipal Unitary Enterprise for the purchase and installation of energy-efficient equipment for apartment buildings of Kazan, which enables to reduce the cost of thermal energy by 20 - 30%. The transaction is executed within the framework of the long-term Regional programme aimed to overhaul of overall property of apartment buildings in the Republic of Tatarstan.

During the negotiations with the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan there were discussed the development of corporate borrowings, including credit facilities within the framework of national programmes of SMEs support. Since the beginning of the year the SME loan portfolio of the Kazan branch of the Bank of Moscow has increased 2 times and amounted, as of October 1, 2014, to 7.2 billion roubles.

The nearest plans of the Bank are to finance the investment projects focused on the socio-economic development of the Republic. Maryam Davletshina, the appointed director of the Kazan Branch of the Bank, will implement the programmes discussed during the negotiations with the RT Government.

Maryam Davletshina was born in 1975, graduated from the Kazan Financial Economic Institute, holds a PhD in Economics. She has been working in the banking sector of the Republic of Tatarstan since 2000. She came to the Bank of Moscow from the Bank of Tatarstan Department of the Sberbank of Russia, OJSC, where she rose through the ranks from the leading inspector of credit department to the deputy manager.

The new director of the Kazan Branch of the Bank of Moscow sees the strengthening of the Branch's position in the banking market and giving new impetus to the development of retail and corporate business as her objectives.
