OREANDA-NEWS. Irina Mirochnik, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "UKRPLASTIC" has unanimously been elected as a member of the European Rotogravure Association at an ERA Board Meeting held on the 4th of November this year, in Dresden, Germany.

During the discussion of candidates for this position, the general secretary ERA James Siever said that thanks to the talent and energy of Irina Mirochnik, her company "UKRPLASTIC" has maintained a stable and top position in the Eastern European market, despite the complex political and socio - economic conditions in the region. "Irina Mirochnik is a worthy example of how business in Eastern Europe is now able to more actively influence the integration of Ukraine into the European business community,” said George Siever. UKRPLASTIC is one of the largest and oldest manufacturers of flexible packaging. UKRPLASTIC uses modern printing facilities and manufactures 10-11-color rotogravure and flexographic printing machines.

According to Irina Mirochnik, the election of a Ukrainian representative to the governing body of a reputable and professional association in Europe imposes great responsibility and enhances the lobby for the interests of Ukrainian business on all levels, including the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
