OREANDA-NEWS. AS Tallink Grupp transported altogether 721 733 passengers in October, which is more than three percent less compared to the same month last year. The decrease in passenger volumes was influenced by the smaller capacity on some routes.

On Finland-Sweden routes the passenger volumes decreased by 4.9 percent to 222 835 passengers, at the same time Silja Symphony was docked for 15 days for reconstruction works and was not replaced during that period. On Estonia-Finland route there were 0.9 percent more, altogether 380 401 passengers in October. On Estonia-Sweden route the passenger number increased by 3.7 percent to 75 155 passengers and on Latvia-Sweden route the company had 29.4 percent less passengers than last year, reaching altogether 43 342 passengers.
