OREANDA-NEWS. STG-Eco LLC, a company of STH Group, has won the tender and signed the contact with TGC-11 JSC (100% of shares owned by Inter RAO Group) for construction of sewage treatment facilities of Omskaya CHPP-5 with capacity of 6,000 cu. m. per day.

According to the contact, STG-Eco will construct on the territory of the plant in the eastern industrial district of Omsk a new building for sewage treatment facilities of CHPP-5 with a total area of 1,350 sq. m. The scope of work includes the supply of materials and equipment, installation of technological pipelines and equipment of treatment facilities, construction and finishing works, installation of heating, ventilation and water supply systems, site improvements and other works.

The designed treatment facilities will provide cleaning of industrial storm sewage to water quality standards of bodies of water of commercial fishing importance. Moreover, the project provides for possible reuse of treated water in the service water system of CHPP-5 reducing the consumption of service water for the needs of the plant. During the treatment process the latest available technologies will be applied. The project involves a multi-stage wastewater treatment: after passing through the ultrafiltration membranes water will be supplied to the sorption carbon filters and then disinfected by ultraviolet radiation.
