OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2014. Tallinn University of Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the leading Chinese research university Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT).

The cooperation will be started with the student and faculty exchange. There was a great interest towards Mektory -- TUT’s Innovation and Business Centre. In the future, partners are interested to conduct research cooperation. BIT is a leading university in China belonging to the lists of „985 Project“ (Chinese world class research-oriented universities) and „211 Project“ (key institution of higher education in China for the 21st century). BIT ranks 501-550 in the QS World University Rankings 2014/2015.

The TUT delegation led by the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Internationalisation Mrs Tea Varrak visits partner universities and takes part in the China Education Expo international educational exhibitions.
