OREANDA-NEWS. In September, 2014 the rehabbing works for the building of № 39/3 shop planned to host the roller production facilities were started at Uralmashzavod.

The production of rollers is the area of priority for Uralmashzavod. That's why Ural Heavy Machinery Plant with the support of Gazprombank has worked out and is implementing the new program to develop the roller production. The total amount of investments for this production will exceed 900 mln. RUR.

Now the dismantling of old structures and the shell, core and utilities reconstruction is in progress at №39/3 shop. By the end of 2014 new double-glass panes and radiant heaters are to be installed there. All the utilities in the shop are also to be replaced. In January, 2015 it is planned to start pit excavation for the main process equipment.

The new roller shop will be equipped with the up-to-date equipment corresponding to the best international standards. The equipment for the new roller production facilities is to be delivered to the plant in summer. The completion of all works at № 39/3 shop is planned for the end of 2015.
