OREANDA-NEWS. IrAero airlines, one of the major regional airlines in Siberia chose NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport as the base airport for its Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft. This means that routine maintenance of the aircraft, as well as the crew change, will be conducted in Novosibirsk. All initial departures of the aircraft will be operated from Novosibirsk airport with returning to operate new flights.

Basing of IrAero's CRJ-200 at NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the beginning of the strategic partnership between airport and airline aimed at the development of short- and medium-haul passenger services, including international.

During the Winter 2014/2015 schedule, IrAero airlines will operate flights from Novosibirsk to such destinations as Irkutsk (up to 4 times per week), Krasnoyarsk (up to 5 times per week), Nizhnevartovsk (up to 2 times per week), Novy Urengoy (2 times per week), Omsk (3 times per week), Salekhard (2 times per week), Ulan-Ude (2 times per week) and Samara (1 time per week). Starting from November 17, 2014, airline commences direct scheduled flight operations on Novosibirsk - Karagandy route (2 times per week), with a plan to increase the number of routes from Novosibirsk in future.

Cooperation of NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport and IrAero is the next stage of the expansion of the regional route network of Novosibirsk airport, it gives passengers the opportunity to enjoy convenient connections flying from Novosibirsk to the wide range of domestic and international destinations.
