OREANDA-NEWS. Jointly with its partner airlines, NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport offers its passengers an updated flight schedule with additional frequencies on certain routes and reinstatement of seasonal flights.

As expected, such touristic resorts as Bangkok, Goa, Dubai, Phuket, Ho Chi Minh, Sharm el-Sheikh will remain within the route network among destinations available during Winter 2014/2015 flight schedule. Departing from NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport, passengers will have the opportunity to travel to Istanbul, Munich, Prague, Beijing and Erevan on direct flights.

The possibility to open direct flight connections between Novosibirsk and such cities as Helsinki, Tel-Aviv, Seoul and Tbilisi is under consideration, as well as the possibility to increase frequencies of flights to Erevan, Dubai, Beijing, Bangkok and other destinations. Starting from 13th October, a new partner Royal Flight airlines operates charter flights from Novosibirsk to Goa. Also, after a six-year hiatus, scheduled flights to Karaganda - one of the largest cities of Kazakhstan are resumed again.

Within Winter 2014/2015 period, domestic flight schedule will be modified as well. Frequency of flights to Moscow, Khanty-Mansiysk, Khabarovsk, Omsk, Nizhnevartovsk and Novy Urengoy will increase. For the first time regular flights to Sochi will be operated during the entire winter schedule. Compared to the Winter 2013/2014 flight schedule, S7 Airlines increases the number of flights from Novosibirsk to such destinations as Bishkek, Norilsk, Irkutsk and Magadan.

Winter flight schedule is valid from 26th October 2014 until 28th March 2015. The airport departments are ready for operation within winter period and comply with all relevant standards and requirements for passenger, cargo and aircraft handling.

As part of the reconstruction of international Terminal B, the number of air bridges has been increased from one to three, which allows to significantly improve passenger service level on international flights.

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity - up to 750 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories. In 2013 the passenger traffic exceeded 3.7 mln passengers and cargo traffic totalled 29.9 thousand tons of cargo and mail handled.
