OREANDA-NEWS. The Concern Radioelectronic Technologies (KRET) will participate in the X China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China 2014) to be held in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, on November 11 through 16. KRET will present innovative equipment designs for fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, including state-of-the-art avionics and navigation systems.

Participation in the Airshow should strengthen the concern's position as an international one-stop supplier of equipment, KRET said in a press release.

"Airshow China 2014 will be debut platform to present the KRET brand in Southeast Asia, enabling the Concern to strengthen its position as a one-stop source of avionics in this promising market," KRET CEO Nikolay Kolesov said.

KRET CEO also said that the Concern currently controls more than 90% of the Russian avionics market and intends to expand its international sales and after-sale service. "We are ready to offer international partners state-of-the-art solutions accomplished by our companies after implementing new technology processes and upgrading production equipment in recent years," Nikolay Kolesov clarified.

The combined KRET display at the Airshow will feature an SNV-1 helicopter navigation system designed to identify navigation, spatial orientation and motion parameters of high-agility objects. Unlike similar products available from international vendors, this system can operate in a much broader temperature range from 60 degrees Celsius below freezing to +70 °С. It is based on modern inertial sensors: an M-40 compact laser three-axes gyroscope and silicon accelerometers manufactured by KRET.

KRET will also present an actual full-scale sample of an innovative heat shield composite material which offers a unique combination of low density, low heat permeability and high resistance to thermal shock. Its nanostructured composition and fiber-and-powder structure are responsible for giving the material its attractive heat-insulating physical and mechanical properties.

This unique heat shield composite will be demonstrated on another KRET product - a ZMP-K-02 protected memory module for recording and saving flight data in case of accidents.

KRET will also demonstrate the MBR-GA-01 Series 1 compact system for flight data collection and recording and the compact protected airborne data storage device. The latter is a Russian design well ahead of comparable international products in data storage capacity, light weight and compact size, and variety of data it can receive and transmit.
