OREANDA-NEWS. The Gazprom Neft Omsk Refinery has increased total refining volumes to 16 million tonnes in the first nine months of 2014 - up 4.8 percent on the same period last year. Depth of refining has also increased, up 2.4 percent to 92.38 percent - among the best figures in the industry.

In the first nine months of this year the Omsk Refinery has increased its production of high-octane gasolines by three percent, to 3.3 million tonnes. More than 85 percent of the high-octane gasoline produced at the Omsk Refinery - some 2.9 million tonnes - meets Euro-5 quality standards. Diesel production totalled 4.8 million tonnes. The Omsk Refinery has now completely transferred to the production of Euro-5 fuels, increasing output by almost two-fold on last year's levels in the first nine months of 2014.

Production of aviation kerosene also increased by 13 percent in the first nine months of this year, up to 1.3 million tonnes, with output of marine fuels up to 2.6 tonnes - an increase of 36 percent on the first nine months of last year.
