OREANDA-NEWS. "Svyaznoy" Group of Companies (GC Svyaznoy), ONEXIM Group and Non-State Pension Fund "BLAGOSOSTOYANIE" (NPF BLAGOSOSTOYANIE) have reached an agreement on change of control through transferring 90% of GC Svyaznoy to ONEXIM Group and NPF BLAGOSOSTOYANIE. Under the terms of the transaction, the debt burden of GC Svyaznoy is to be decreased significantly.

"Given the circumstances, the most important issue was to come to a mutual understanding with the management on the need for preserving the value and further development of GC Svyaznoy's business. We believe in the company's future and fully intend to support it in any way possible" - said Yuri Novozhilov, Executive Director of NPF BLAGOSOSTOYANIE.

"We believe that we will stabilize the Svyaznoy situation quickly, in which we enjoy the support of the creditors of various companies within GC Svyaznoy, as well as that of its management" - said Dmitry Razumov, CEO of ONEXIM Group.
