OREANDA-NEWS. Interpolitex-2014, 18th international exhibition of state security facilities, ended today in Moscow. At the exhibition VNIIR-Progress featured its product range.

Participants from 50 national regions and foreign countries demonstrated state security solutions, novelties and special tools.

VNIIR-Progress focused on demonstration of KOMETA© adaptive antenna array designed to obtain GLONASS signals within severe radio interferences. Attendees were impressed with KOMETA© operation, compared with conventional GLONASS/GPS receiver. KOMETA© proved its efficiency and stable functioning within harmful interferences.

Intense business program was arranged in the frame of the exhibition. In particular, Ashot Oganesyan, Deputy Director of Navigation and Satellite Systems Department reported on enhanced functional reliability of time-coordinated navigation robotic systems and on protection of satellite navigation and synchronization systems from interferences.

Ashot Oganesyan commented on the results of the exhibition: "Manufacturers of unmanned aerial systems, technical specialists from large national corporations, representatives from Ministry of Internal Affairs and Federal Security Service paid much attention to KOMETA©. Manufacturers of unmanned aerial systems offered to develop KOMETA© miniaturized version, as they are interested in 200… 250 gm devices, and our novelty weighs about 1 kg. In our further work we will take into account our customer's opinions".

In the end of the exhibition VNIIR-Progress was awarded diploma and medal for innovative development of interference-free appliances for GLONASS/GPS navigation satellite systems.

Interpolitex-2014 showed that robotic equipment, such as unmanned aerial systems, is highly demanded by law enforcement agencies. VNIIR-Progress' navigation products are highly appreciated in the market as they meet all strict reliability requirements.
