OREANDA-NEWS. Over the first nine months of 2014, ASKA increased payouts by 67% year-on-year. The company paid out UAH 117,280,000 in January-September 2013 and UAH 173,886,000 for the same period this year.

The biggest increase in payouts came from insurance against fire and other natural disasters - UAH 5,202,000 against UAH 52,692,000, and from property insurance - UAH 5,661,000 against UAH 45,214,000.

The contracts concluded in the reporting period account for UAH 356,890,000. In total, ASKA signed 115,761 agreements including 29,079 for voluntary insurance and 86,682 for compulsory insurance.

In January-September 2014, ASKA's biggest rise in premiums was in rail transport insurance - 426.4% and third-party insurance - 383.5% year-on-year.

The average pay-out/premium ratio was 48.6% in voluntary insurance and 49.3% in compulsory insurance.
