At the same time, supplies of Moldovan wines to Belarus for 9 months of 2014 increased by 1% as compared to the same period of the last year, reaching more than 3.1 million dal. Moldova remains at the 1st place by the volume of wine exports to Belarus, which is significantly higher than on the quantity and pricing of the other countries.

Thus, in January-September 2014, Belarusian wine purchases from Georgia made 105,2 thousand dal- USD 4.1 million, France - 84,4 thousand dal- USD 3.7 million, Italy - 77.3 thousand dal- USD 3.2 million, Spain - 81 thousand dal- USD 2,03 million, Chile - 50,6 thousand dal- USD 1.64 million, Germany - 64,2 thousand dal- USD 1.34 million.

In general, Belarus for 9 months of 2014 has reduced imports of grape wines, including fortified wines by 2%-up to 3,66 million dal, and in cash by 11%- up to USD 41,96 million. According to the official Belarusian statistics, in 2013, Moldova exported to Belarus 4.28 million liters of wine (at the level of 2012) in the amount of USD 40,75 million (+9%).

In general, in 2013 Belarus increased imports of grape wines, including fortified by 4%- up to 5 million 346 thousand dal. In value terms, imports grew by 26%- up to \\$73 million 786 thousand. from those on the EU market.

In this context, Moldovan producers have to resolve some issues concerning packaging, labelling and logistics. The expert noted that it takes a company 20 to 25 days to deliver goods to Dubai. Moldova-Fruct CEO was confident that Moldovan growers could compete with European suppliers and the market of the Middle East could take the place of the Russian market. Participants of WоP-2014 were given an opportunity to learn new rules for transporting perishables, discuss their shelf lives, special temperature regimes, pricing policies, packaging, the summer and winter terms of transporting goods, etc.
