OREANDA-NEWS. On November 18, 2014, Danilo Teofilo Costa, Second Secretary of Brazil's embassy in Belarus, visited BUCE head office. During the visit, the Brazilian diplomat learnt about the peculiarities of using exchange instruments, accreditation and trading procedures as well as BUCE's aims and objectives as the largest supply and demand aggregator on the country's spot market.

The talks focused on the possibility of offering Brazilian meat products at exchange auctions in a bid to ensure legality, transparency and efficiency of import and export transactions. In addition, the sides discussed joint activities designed to engage more Brazilian companies in exchange trade covering primarily agricultural products such as coffee, sugar, oilseed cakes, etc.

Based on the results of the meeting, the parties agreed to intensify cooperation between BUCE and Brazil's diplomatic office in Belarus in order to create favorable conditions for boosting trade between the Republic of Belarus and Federative Republic of Brazil.
