OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC OGK-2 releases OGK-2 Group's interim condensed unaudited consolidated Financial Statements for the 9 months period, ended September 30, 2014, prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

In 9 months 2014 the revenue of OGK-2 Group totaled RUR 83,341 million, that is higher by 1 billion 771 million rubles (+2.2%) year-on-year. The revenue increase resulted from the growth of electricity prices at the wholesale market along with lower sales volume.

Operating expenses increased by RUR 2,107 million (+2.8%). There were also measures taken, aimed at more marginal usage of fuel, which constitutes the bulk of the expenses.

Operating profit for the 9 months of the 2014 decreased by RUR 334 million (-4.4%) and totaled RUR 7,192 million.

EBITDA for the 9 months of the 2014 changed marginally (-0.4%) year-on-year amounting to RUR 10,860 million (for the 9 months of the 2013 - RUR 10,909 million).

OGK-2 Group profit for the 9 months of the 2014 increased by RUR 714 million or than 14.5% year-on-year and totaled RUR 5,634 million.

Total comprehensive income of OGK-2 Group also increased by 17% year-on-year and totaled RUR 5,742 million.
