OREANDA-NEWS. November 26, 2014. In the framework of the second five-year plan NP FIID needs to qualify more than 10.5 thousand specialists. This has been announced by Vice Minister of Education and Science Takir Balykbayev during briefing at the CCS.

"According to our preliminary estimates, we must qualify more than 10.5 thousand graduates, including those with a higher education in order to satisfy demand in the framework of the second five-year plan of the NP FIID. That is why we want to start preparing about 3 thousand specialists from 2015," T. Balykbayev said.

According to him, concrete work in this direction has already begun.

"The work has begun to achieve good implementation of this task, 11 universities have been identified in Kazakhstan. They will prepare the staff for agriculture, light chemical industry and engineering. Our proposal - to train personnel in the magistracy. The fact is that preparation lasts one and half year in the magistracy. Therefore, if we start next year, our graduates from 2017 can work in factories, commissioned under NP FIID," he explained.

Personnel training will be carried out on new educational programs, developed jointly with foreign partners, taking into account new technological processes, according to the MES of Kazakhstan.

In the next 3 years 10 billion tenge will be allocated to strengthen the material and technical base of universities, where highly qualified industrialization personnel will prepare. 6 areas of personnel training have been identified: metallurgy, petrochemical, food and chemical industry, machine building and construction materials.

Ministry of Education and Science (MES) of Kazakhstan will increase grants for undergraduate engineering specialties in the framework of specialists training of the second five-year plan of NP FIID.

"We are constantly increasing the grants for undergraduate engineering specialties over the last few years. Over 12 thousand grants from 35 thousand have been allocated for engineering specialties in 2014. In connection with the execution of the program NPIID-2 and the President's instructions we will increase the state order for engineering specialties and in profession-oriented magistracy," T. Balykbayev said.

Also he called specialties, which are urgently required in the framework of the NPIID.

"We examined the situation, and found that there are some specialties which are badly needed in the framework of the NPIID. This is due to metallurgy, mechanical engineering and food industries. I think that there will be a large number of students in these areas," Vice Minister of the MES said.

Earlier T. Balykbayev reported that within the second five-year industrialization plan over 10 thousand specialists will be qualified. For good implementation of this task 11 universities in Kazakhstan have been identified. They will train personnel for agriculture, light chemical industry and engineering.
