OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2014. Shenhua Group Corp, China's biggest coal producer, posted a 13.9-percent year-on-year decrease in commercial coal production to 23.5 million tons in Oct.

Coals sales dropped by 25.7 percent year-on-year to 34.7 million tons last month, among which exports fell by 33.3 percent to 0.2 million tons, while imports plunged by 56 percent to 1.1 million tons.

The accumulative total of commercial coal production for the first 10 months of this year is reported to be 257.5 million tons - representing 2.5-percent year-on-year fall. The accumulative total of coal sales dropped by 9 percent year-on-year to 376 million tons.
