OREANDA-NEWS. The World Bank is to allocate Ukraine with \$300 million for implementation of the project in a number of regions to improve primary and secondary health care, acting Health Minister of Ukraine Vasyl Lazoryshynets said at a briefing at the Government House on Monday, December 1, 2014.

"Today, the Board of Directors of the World Bank has completed and approved in advance a Ukraine’s project regarding attracting funds of the World Bank to improve medical care in nine regions of Ukraine," the acting Health Minister underlined.

He said the projects have been already approved in Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrivsk, Zakarpattia, Lviv, Odessa, Poltava, Kharkiv and Rivne.

Vasyl Lazoryshynets has also noted that the Health Ministry is cooperating with the Office of the World Health Organization, with UNFPA, the UNICEF office in Ukraine, as well as the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.
