OREANDA-NEWS. Southwest Airlines Customer Service Agents and Customer Representatives ratified a new four-year agreement. CSAs and CRs decidedly voted in favor of the new Contract that includes an Employee signing bonus and pay increases, as well as opportunities for bonuses that are tied to Company and Employee performance.

The new agreement rewards our IAM-represented Employees for their exceptional performance, while supporting our mission of being the number one low-cost carrier in the country. At the same time, it honors our commitment of providing Employees a stable and rewarding work environment and keeps us true to our core vision of being the World's Most Loved, Most Flown, and Most Profitable Airline.

IAM's leadership and partnership have helped advance this great Company by protecting our ongoing cost structure.  The new contract not only secures IAM's industry-leading pay, but it also recognizes the industry landscape and addresses competitive issues from recreated bankrupt carriers and ultra LCCs.

Given that the ratification comes before the end of the year, IAM Employees will benefit from the stellar financial performance the Company had in 2014.
