OREANDA-NEWS. In JV "Asia Auto Kazakhstan", created for the construction car plant in Ust-Kamenogorsk with the capacity of 120 thousand cars a year and the price of about 500 million Dollars, there will be two members instead of three as it was planned previously. The representative of AvtoVAZ and CEO of the joint venture, Yerzhan Mandiev, informed about it the newspaper "Vedomosti". The project was left by social-entrepreneurial corporation Eptic, which was able to obtain in the joint venture 25% minus 2 shares, says Mr. Mandiev.

"This shareholder refers to the companies of quasi-public sector and in accordance with the changed Kazakh law his participation in the capital of the joint venture closes the access to a range of investment preferences", - explains Mr.Mandiev. According to him, we are talking about the possibility of granting of tax and customs privileges, in-kind grants and so on.

In June of 2014 it was adopted amendments to the law "On investments", according to which, on the one hand, there is expanded size of government support, and on the other - these measures are not available for state-owned companies, says a representative of the "BIPEK Auto - Asia cars". "We support this position and it is considered preferable to abandon the idea of participation by the state in the capital of the company in favor of other support measures and we have the funds to make up the missing capital", - he added. During 10 months of 2014 the turnover of group "BIPEK Auto - Asia Auto" was 1.1 billion Dollars and net profit was not disclosed.

Car production at the building plant will be started in three years. There will be assembled Lada Granta, Lada Kalina and future trends VAZ - Lada Vesta and Lada XRay. According to Mr.Mandiev, at the site it will be also opened several automotive component companies, including independent producers. Group "BIPEK Auto - Asia Auto", in addition to sales of cars, is also producing cars Lada 4 Ч 4 at its plant "ASIA AUTO" (in addition to KIA, Chevrolet, Skoda).
