OREANDA-NEWS. According to AS Tallink Grupp the company transported 647 222 passengers in November, which is 3.8 percent less than last year. The number of transported cargo units decreased by 3.1 percent and of passenger vehicles by 1.2 percent. The results were mostly influenced by the decrease of capacity on the Latvia-Sweden route in August by 50 percent.

On Sweden-Finland routes the passenger volume increased by 0.8 percent to 209 089 passengers and on Estonia-Sweden route by 1.3 percent to 64 082 passengers. The passenger volumes on Estonia-Finland route and Latvia-Sweden routes decrease by 3.5 percent to 338 106 passengers and 31.1 percent to 35 945 passengers respectively.

The number of transported cargo units decreased by 3.1 percent to 26 538 units, whereas the only routes decreasing the volumes were Sweden-Finland (-7.2%) and Latvia-Sweden (-59%). The number of transported passenger vehicles decreased by 1.2 to 75 041 vehicles, the decrease was mostly caused by smaller number of vehicles on Estonia-Finland (-0.7%) and Latvia-Sweden (-34.2%) routes.
