OREANDA-NEWS. The World Youth Chess Championship completed in the city of Juiz de Fora (Brazil).

Talented chess players from 15 countries of the world are vying for prizes in this eminent competition organized under the auspices of the International Chess Federation (FIDE).

An exceptional significance attached under the leadership of President Islam Karimov to the dynamic development of children’s sports in our country serves as an important factor in nurturing the younger generation physically sound, spiritually mature, intellectually advanced individuals. It facilitates also the further elevation of the standing of Uzbek sport at the international arena. The youths making remarkable achievements in chess have been growing in number. The athletes in this sport are distinct with their high intellectual abilities, cute and astute mind.

A young chess player from Uzbekistan Javokhir Sindarov became the absolute triumph of the championship.

Javokhir played a draw in the final round of the competition with a representative of Kazakhstan Ansat Abylmansur and won the first place in "Open up to 9 years", having the credit of 8.5 points.

Islombek Sindarov also showed good results in the "Open up to 7 years". Javokhir’s younger brother took the third place.
