OREANDA-NEWS. On December 8, 2014 BUCE attended a workshop organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with Arzinger & Partners Ltd. The event was held as part of the international technical aid project "Creating a single entrepreneurship support system and establishing business contacts for sustainable cross-border cooperation of Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus. (B2B)".

During the workshop that gathered over 100 Belarusian exporters both foreign and Belarusian experts presented a series of reports covering such topics as securing government support to increase exports, accessing EU market, using financial and technical instruments to boost foreign trade, requirements for Belarusian companies seeking to participate in tenders in EU countries.

One of such reports titled "Using electronic platforms of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange to develop trade with Latvia, Lithuania and other EU members" was delivered by BUCE representative. The information presented in the report was well received by the workshop participants some of whom voiced an intention to visit BUCE's head office in order to get a better idea of BUCE operating principles and advantages of employing exchange instruments in cross-border trade.
