OREANDA-NEWS. The Bank of Moscow summarized the preliminary performance for 2014 in the SME segment. As of December 1, the total loan portfolio of SME clients amounted to 349 billion roubles. Despite the general slowdown of the corporate lending market, the size of the Bank's portfolio still has steady growth rates, having increased by half since the beginning of the year (+109 billion roubles).

According to the results of 11 months of this year the resources raised from SME clients amounted to 139 billion roubles. The guaranteed portfolio of SME clients increased 1.8 times - up to 99 billion roubles - since the beginning of the year.

Significant progress has been made in terms of SME clients attraction. Almost 18 thousand new SME clients have been attracted as of 1 December 2014 to be served in the Bank, that exceeds by 1.4 times the similar figure of 2013.

To a large extent such results were achieved due to implementation of new services. Among such new services of 2014 there are the technology of twenty-four-hour settlement of intrabank payments for corporate clients which transfer documents through RB (remote banking) system, the SMS-service informing the clients of operations on current accounts etc.

By virtue of new services the number of payments made by clients during the first semester of 2014 grew by 42% in comparison with year 2013. According to the survey made in the middle of 2014, 90% of SME clients consider the Bank of Moscow as the main settlement bank for their company, despite the fact that more than one third of clients have accounts in other banks.

"We are satisfied with the results of development of business with SME clients in 2014. Our results show the high efficiency and effectiveness of models for work with small and medium-sized business, introduced in 2012. Today I can say, that we have achieved very high performance for the past 3 years: the loan portfolio in this segment grew 7 times; more than 40,000 new clients were attracted to be served in the Bank during that time," Vladimir Voyeykov, Member of the Board of the Bank of Moscow, commented.
